During your career at Empower Engineers & Project Managers (Empower) there will be a range of training and development opportunities including:

Tertiary Education

Empower encourages employees to continue to develop their skills through professional development. Employees may choose to upgrade their current skill sets or pursue a new discipline through tertiary study in areas such as civil engineering, accounting, law, business administration, human resources and marketing.

Traineeships and Apprenticeships

Empower supports and encourages site based personnel to further their development by offering apprenticeships and traineeships in Civil Construction and Workplace Health and Safety. Programs available include Certificate 3 and 4 in Civil Construction, comprising of pipe laying, road construction and maintenance, and bridge construction and maintenance.

Program of Professional Development: Chartered Status for Engineers

In conjunction with Engineers Australia, Empower provides staff with a systematic program of professional development to achieve Chartered Status – the pinnacle independent practice for engineers, and a passport to international recognition and new career opportunities with Empower. This formally recognised agreement is applicable to all types of engineering work.

Empower is committed to providing professional development opportunities across all disciplines with full subsidies available for relevant approved courses.
